The price of electricity for households in Zimbabwe is ZWD 63.994 per kWh or USD 0.064 per kWh (September 2023). This includes all components of the electricity bill such as the cost of power, distribution, and taxes.
Zimbabwe imported 2,220,000 MWh of electricity in 2016, covering 31% of its annual consumption needs. This was part of Zimbabwe's electricity generation and consumption statistics, which also include exports, nuclear, renewable, and non-renewable energy sources.

The electricity supply industry (ESI) in Zimbabwe is dominated by government owned power entities. The main entities are the Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) and the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC).
