Operations Manual ZincFive BC Series UPS Battery Cabinets
Charging is complete if any of the following occur on a 38 Battery Cabinet: Current < 4A AND String Voltage > 566Vdc Any Monoblock Voltage > 15.5V String Voltage > 581V
This error is generated in the following circumstances: One (or more) cells are very deeply discharged or defective. Check the battery terminal voltage. If the battery terminal voltage is too low, refer to the Battery very low terminal voltage chapter on what to do next. The internal circuit board has a hardware fault.
An error message on your battery charger could indicate a variety of problems. It could be an issue with the battery, the charger itself, or a mismatch between the charger and the battery. Refer to the user manual of your charger to understand what the specific error message means and how to troubleshoot it.
The charger does not output any voltage or current. Check the power source and ensure it is providing power to the charger. Verify that the charger is properly plugged in and the power switch is turned on. The charger outputs the wrong voltage or current. Adjust the charger settings to match the requirements of your battery.
This will damage the equipment. 3) If the equipment has a voltage output range or your battery voltage is larger than 36V (minimum safety voltage to human, different from standards), you should take great caution to operate both equipment channel and battery you are going to test.
